| I love the music of Christmas. I love the familiar carols of the season. It's exciting to hear the world singing the story of God's love come to earth. I also love the new Christmas songs that are being written. Take a listen to "Welcome to Our World". I realize I have eclectic music tastes. You probably wouldn't have enjoyed my music choice this morning of Kirk Franklin. Ha. But that's ok. This song however, I think you will enjoy regardless of your musical preferences. The words so clearly point to the hope we have in Christ. The lyrics also tenderly point to the reason for Christ's birth. The road to the Cross. Fragile finger sent to heal us Tender brow prepared for thorn Tiny heart whose blood will save us Unto us is born Unto us is born So wrap our injured flesh around You Breathe our air and walk our sod Rob our sin and make us holy Perfect Son of God Perfect Son of God Welcome to our world "Welcome to Our World" by Chris Rice Click the video above to listen to the song's author sing "Welcome to Our World". |
