Recap
The Gifts of Christmas Part 2: Peace
What kind of peace did Jesus, the Prince of Peace, come to give?
1. Peace In The Middle of Conflict.  Luke 12:49-53, Romans 12:18, Philippians 4:6-7.
2. Peace In Spite of Doubt & Fear.  Zechariah (Luke 1:5-20). Mary (Luke 1:26-38). Joseph (Matthew 1:18-25).  The Shepherds (Luke 2:8-14).
We'll continue talking about "peace" next Sunday.

Question for Reflection
Have you ever welcomed Jesus into parts of your world, but kept Him out of other parts?

We welcome your comments.

Merry Christmas!

The Gifts of Christmas, Part 1

12/3/2013

Key Verse from Sunday:
Matthew 1:23, NIV, “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”(which means “God with us”).

Recap
The First Gift of Christmas is His Presence!
1. Step On
(Hebrews 3:6, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20).  The people are the church.  Our building is a tool for God's glory.
2. Step In
(Discipleship, Jude 18-20). Build one another up in the faith.
3. Step Up
(Serving, 1 Peter 4:10).  Use the gifts God has given you.
4. Step Out
(Evangelism, Romans 10:14).
Share the Gospel with those outside the walls of the church.

Question for Reflection
Has God ever used an inanimate object like a set of steps to remind you of principles from His Word?

We welcome your comments.
