Join Us In The "War Room".

9/8/2015

Have you heard of the new faith based movie, "War Room"?  It's from the makers of "Courageous" & "Fireproof".  On it's opening weekend the end of August it was the second highest grossing movie in the U.S.  I hope it comes to Canada, but we'll watch for it on DVD in the future.  Stop right now and view the trailer to the left.

When you bow to pray, do you think of yourself as a solider fighting a war?  If you're like me, usually not.  But that's the truth!  The Bible is clear in Ephesians 6:12 that "...our struggle is not against flesh and blood...[but] against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."  And God has given us a part to play as we pray.  What an awesome privilege and responsibility!  When I think of prayer, I often think of the verse from 2 Chronicles 7:14, "...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."  The key word I want us to notice is the first one..."IF".  "If" implies a decision.  Will you, or won't you?  God will answer our prayers "IF" we pray them.

I hope you'll join us this Sunday, September 13th at 7pm for our Service of Prayer.  It will be a night of scripture, worship but most of all, prayer.

You can share your prayer request on our prayer page:
