Chasing God's Glory

5/6/2014

Key Verse from Sunday:
"Then the temple of the LORD was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the temple of God."
2 Chronicles 5:13b-14, NIV

Recap
Chasing God's Glory
2 Chronicles 5:1-14

1.  Plan and Prepare but Be Open to Interruptions (5:12-13).
2. God's Word is the Centre (5:10, Hebrews 1:3).
3. Expect God to Show Up (5:4-6).

Why Chase After God's Glory?
1. The beauty of life from God's perspective.
2. The mystery of not knowing exactly what great things God is going to do.
3. The feeling of connection to an all-powerful God.
4. The challenge of learning to listen and discern when God is speaking.
5. The thrill of seeing yours and others lives transformed.

Question for Reflection
Have you experienced a time when God's glory or presence was very real to you?

I welcome your comments.

You are asking us what we should do. Personally, I will listen. I believe that every word that should be heard should be spoken first. If there's a need for me to offer my ears wholeheartedly, I will do it because that is God who is talking to me. Aside from listening. I will do everything that He wants me to do for I know that He has his plans for me. I will trust Him with all of my heart! By the way, I want to thank you for such a huge inspiration!
