Question(s) for Reflection
What do you find motivates you more, pressure or encouragement? How does grace motivate us to honour God? I welcome your comments. -Jason When we have received the grace of God, it's no good if we just keep it to ourselves. Grace goes from me to you. From you to others. Today we look at Romans 12:1-8 as we grow in grace together. And just for fun, I've included the full "Who's On First?" comedy routine. We just watched the first part on Sunday to help us remember that we are not on first.
Question for Reflection Why is it important to not "conform to the pattern of this world" as Paul tells us to do in Romans 12:2? I welcome your comments. -Jason Today we look at Ephesians 2:1-10. Grace is undeserved, unmerited, but freely given to everyone who believes. We don't deserve it but have received it. Will we extend it to others? You can listen to/watch the song "People of the Cross" that was played on Sunday below.
Question for Reflection Do we ever think we deserve God's grace? Why is believing this lie so dangerous? I welcome your comments. -Jason As we look at the story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well in John chapter 4, we discover that it's a story of grace. When we look at others, do we see thirsty people, longing for grace?
Question for Reflection
When I see someone living far from God and biblical values, do I see a thirsty person, searching and looking for God's grace, or do I see something else? I welcome your comments. -Jason |
