The church had a great time at our Children’s Christmas Concert in which our children taught us the ABC’s of Christmas. (December 2009)

Cookies For Missions is a project lead by our Women’s Group that gets the whole church involved in baking Christmas Cookies in order to raise money to buy much needed items for families in need in Third World countries. (December 2009)
Our Youth Group has a great time whenever we get together. We want to thank our Youth Group for their enthusiasm and all their help with the Cookies For Missions. Not only did they do a great job helping out but they made it a lot of fun as well. Way to go guys! (December 2009)

Laurentian Wesleyan Church is the Regional Collection Center for Operation Christmas Child for North Bay and the surrounding area. This is a wonderful ministry of our church in which we have the opportunity to make a difference in so many lives. The grand total of boxes collected for 2009 was 2,958 shoeboxes. Thank you to all the churches, schools, organizations and individuals who contributed shoeboxes. We couldn't have done it without your help. (November 2009)

We were able to send 54 banana boxes full of donated Christian material such as Bibles, Hymnals and Sunday School material down to the Christian Salvage Mission thanks to the generosity of churches and individuals in North Bay and the surrounding area. Powassan/Laurentian 2009 Mexico Mission Trip. We arrived in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico on February 2, and worked on various projects for two weeks. The church Iglesia Evangelica Los Peregrinos was used as our home base while we were in Mexico. (February 2009)
Back in 2007 Laurentian Wesleyan Church along with Powassan Wesleyan Church, Lighthouse Community Church and Northern Lights Wesleyan Church raised funds to send Bibles down to Mexico. It was a real blessing to see those Bibles being used by our Mexican brothers and sisters. (February 2009)
