Hello, my name is Chris Lang and I'm the pastor of Laurentian Wesleyan Church.  First let me introduce you to my family.  I've been married to my wonderful wife Tina since 1997.  We've been blessed with two wonderful children who are just full of life.  My son's name is Nicholas and my daughter is Serena.

Can I ask you something, what are your dreams?  Back in 1992, I had dreams that I thought would make me happy.  I was chasing after the dreams that everyone said would make my life satisfying and yet deep down I wasn't.  I didn't even realize it then but I was looking for something different which I recognized in a friend of mine.  He was a lot worse off than me in many ways and yet he seemed happy.  It just so happened that he was a Christian.  One night we got to talking and he asked me what I was living for?  I told my friend about all of the fabulous dreams that I had.  When I was finished I realized that he had a sad look on his face and then he asked my why I was living with such small dreams for my life when God had something bigger and better for me.  It struck a chord deep inside, I asked Jesus to be my Lord that night and from that point on I've been living with bigger dreams.
